Last week the UK Government cancelled a third trial of hydrogen-powered heating for residential use. Overwhelmingly, studies and expert advice in the UK and Europe are concluding the future of heating is still electric. While in industrial settings, hydrogen may still offer a valid alternative, heat pumps are continuing to be preferred for residential applications.
