Winter is coming… (again)

If like us, you felt the bite of autumn this week and are starting to think about switching your heating on, you are possibly also dreading another winter of expensive, unpredictable bills.

It’s not too late though…

Approximately 30% of your heat loss is through uninsulated walls, with a further 25% through uninsulated roofs.

The good news though, for a large number of homes, is it’s not too late to benefit from the Great British Insulation scheme – a free scheme designed to insulate roofs or walls in small and medium-sized properties with poor energy efficiency, regardless of assets or income.

If your Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating is D or below (hint – if you don’t have both wall and roof insulation that’s probably you), and you are in council tax band A-D (England) or A-E (Scotland and Wales), you likely qualify.

Call us for more information and to check your eligibility for these free energy efficiency measures.
