Our advice is to use your GBIS eligibility to the maximum benefit. What would cost you ‘more, if you had to pay for it yourself? Which measure offers more heat loss for your particular property? If you do need both, it might be worth discussing with your surveyor.

Remember, if you are currently if you are currently off-grid, or on-grid but with a a non-condensing boiler, you might also be eligible for solar panels and a new heating system. Ask your Energy Assessor to fully understand your options.
